Our Old Favorites series for banjo, guitar and mandolin all
contain the following well known songs you'll encounter at
bluegrass festival field picking sessions everywhere.
In each case, they were written
specifically for the named instrument. They have
been written to be bluegrass beautiful while being the easiest to
play. That is, fundamental picking-hand roll theory has
been brought to bear. Just like a recipe, all you need to do is
follow directions. What you learn from each song will apply
